Item Title
C-37 Additive Change Order #1 for Orange Park High School EHPA Improvements (Building 10 Shelter Retrofit)

Issue/Rationale

Change Orders are initiated by the Contractor, Architect/Engineer or Owner, and may increase or decrease the scope of the project as defined by the plans and specifications.  Change Orders are reviewed by the Architect/Engineer and staff prior to submission to the School Board for approval.  The additive changes are for unforeseen piping that had to be rerouted to accommodate new footing and removal and reinstallation of ceilings in restrooms to access joists for joist reinforcement.



Recommended Action
Approve the Change Order.

Financial Impact
If approved, this Change Order will increase the contract amount by $13,310.20.  The Substantial Completion date is May 18, 2011.  Final Completion date is May 23, 2011.  Architect fees will increase by $798.61 as a result of this change order.
